Well, everybody here has a job. Steph, Dad, Mike, mom (well she has the job to play mom everyday haha) and well, here's me. Jobless as ever. My school just got on springbreak and I have absolutely nothing to really look forward to this week.

I will have to keep myself busy with something. Hmmm. I will have to go job hunting again.

My idea of a perfect 1st date already happened, about a week ago. We all went on a group date to The Rusty Putter, and then we went to our school's dance. Winter Formal was pretty awesome. They had 2 14 feet screens that played music videos and would flash in the dancers on the floor. It was a pretty memorable night :)

Michael Mark Hobbs has finally recieved his mission call! A little late update, but he is going to the Ireland/Scotland english speaking mission! He reports to the England MTC on June 24th, 2011!!!! :)

the flags team is unfortunatly down to 4 people. it's sad. i'm choreographer and we are so close to being cut out of the school's program. we are going to have tryouts and hopefully by some miracle the flags team will stay in tact. i hope so.

Me and dad have the great opportunity to go spend one more afternoon with my flag girls <3 I'm so excited!!!! we haven't had time together since march!!!! it seems like forever ago ha ha but it was almost just a month ago! I'm so excited for the new season coming up...it seems like we are going to have alot of girls on the team this year. Julia and I have been helping some RMS girls get some skills down. As of right now 4 of them are trying out. We also found a bunch of girls at HHS already who want to tryout because they didn't make Varsity Dance or JV drill. It's exciting because as of right now i have come up with a total of...drum roll please...14 girls trying out (or thinking about trying out)!!!!!!! It's so exciting because of the fact that last year we had 12 girls to begin with but 4 had to quit and then i injured 1 by complete accident. yes, stay away from me if your on the team, i fractured a girl's hand!!!!!!!!! I felt terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( anyway...can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!! Lot's of new friends and a brand new season!!!!!!

I haven't had time to update...ha ha so here is a quick update. Amber graduated college :) exciting stuff :) my flags team went to state :) Stephanie and me got to go to a Carrie Underwood concert :) My flags team went to state :) we placed 5Th place in tall flag (Love Story by Taylor Swift) and got green ribbons and we placed 3rd place in lyrical (White Horse by Taylor Swift) and got a trophy and silver medals =D :) :) :) <3>

Mike went on a mini mission in march, he said that it was an awesome experience :) Stephanie got a job at Dairy Queen. She has been working a lot lately and that is awesome for her :)

Mom is now the miamaid advisor (1st counselor in YW presidency). I am no longer in the presidency so i don't get the privilege to work with her :( I'm sure the new girls will do great :) Dad got released as Deacon's quorum advisor...we shall see where he goes next :)

All in all we are all doing pretty great here in IL!! we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of summer. It is going to be a very eventful year :) looking forward to a lot of great memories to be made :)

Piano!

I've been so busy lately. For Christmas we got this new photo shop program. I've been experimenting alot with it and these are some of the pictures that I've edited. They aren't that good because I've just been introduced to this program.

I also had my first flags competition. We got first in both our routines only because we were the only "AAA" division there. The other team was "A" division. It was either win or win ha ha. We are supposed to have a competition today, but unfortunately one of our teammates quit the team. We were then down to 8 people and needed to redo some of the formations. Then I got a new solo part in White Horse, and my first try doing it I hit Kelli, who is behind me, in the arm. I didn't think it hurt that much but she was in pain all night and ended up going to the ER after practice. She came to school yesterday with her arm wrapped and her fingers. I broke her pinky and fractured her ring finger and bruised her arm pretty badly. I'm sooooooooooo sorry Kelli. I even offered to do her homework, I feel awful. She said accidents happen and she wanted to break a bone eventually this was just really bad timing. Now we are down to 7, possibly going on 6 depending on if anyone else drops or gets injured.

Wow, with all this christmas shopping and festivities beggining i begin to forget all about this blog. The past couple of weeks have been so much fun, that we've been having too much fun to even think about this. Haha, Amber and Ryan came down for thanksgiving week. It was so much fun to have the family together again. But before thanksgiving, the Tuesday was Dad's 49th, sorry 48th, birthday :D. We got him all sorts of stuff, but the highlight of his birthday probably had to be the NEW SUPER MARIO BROTHERS that we got him for the Wii. We stayed up late almost every night playing that game. The last night before amber and ryan left we played it till about 1 am. We had so much fun. We got to world 5 i think... the Wed. before thanksgiving we also had the chance to go to Mideval Times for me and dad's birthday dinner. (I turned 15 on the 18th). That was so much fun. You literrally had to eat with your hands and got to watch this show. They joust and they acted. My favorite food was most definetly the chicken. MMM!!!! it was so delicious!!! For thanksgiving itself, dad's old friend from high school (Mike lefver (??) ) and his family came over. Or as my dad called him Boo Boo and Skeeter got together again :D. We had alot of fun and the food was amazing! Saturday, amber and ryan left for home! We had so much fun spending time with them and getting to celebrate thanksgiving!

Last night, was my first basketball performance, and lets just say it was very tiring. The begginning was perfect, the middle was ok, but the end was horrible. We had to sit there before half time and get the end together the best we could. It was so nerve racking, because people were walking in front and behind and litterally right through our rehersal. Coach and captain told us to hit them if the got in our way, and that's exactly what we did. I was in the middle of doing an around your body spin thing and Mr. Wiestman walked by, he goes to our church so he knows me. He smiled and waved, so i smiled and tried waving while the flag was in my other hand, but it didn't work that well, i ended up dropping it. That practice was so tiring though. Then after half time i went and sat down and these girls behind us were all like "excuse us but we need our leg room so you shouldn't have sat there." i was in such a bad mood i turnded around and said "Loose the attitude i'm not in the mood. if you want leg room, don't come to these games cuz your not going to get it, look around." and i turned around feeling proud of myself. I felt kind of bad about that haha.

But ya, now that competition season is coming up, we have to get alot of practice in. And if we don't get it perfect, we have to do it again, over and over and over. And we have to review like there's no tomorrow. Our first competiton is in January. There's alot on our plates and we have to get this practice in. It's going to become harder, but we gotta get this done.

Anyway, hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving, and i'm going to promise to try and update more often!

Flag's Camp is Over

This past week I was at my flag's camp. I missed the first day, but I caught up the second. I am so tired and sore, but I thought it was fun to learn the new competition routine. We performed it the last day for the dancers and parents. I messed up so much. I wasn't too worried about messing up because nobody knew the routine very well. I had fun, and I'm kind of glad it's over. =D

Yellowstone... is coming

Our Yellowstone trip was fantastic! We all had so much fun! I have tons of pictures (kind of like Amber lol) but our computer has been really slow lately, so they will have to wait. But, our trip was really fun! We started out by going to South Dakota. We saw Mt. Rushmore, Badlands (where I sadly got sick for a day :( ) And Bear Country USA, Custer, and Reptile Gardens. We didn't really see too much wildlife except in Custer we saw Buffalo and in Badlands we saw prairie dogs. Then we saw a couple deer. We then traveled 10 hours all the way to Yellowstone. We stayed in a cabin called the Mangy Moose. It was a bit big for the occasion so we invited people to come along. Amber and Ryan came the whole time and the our Aunts, Donna and Carolyn. Nathan and Heather Hobbs came up for a night also. We did lots of stuff in Yellowstone. We went fishing, saw elk, wolves, foxes, and the occasional buffalo. We got stuck in a big buffalo crossing, and Ryan even touched one! It was funny! We saw the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, and tons of the pots. Sadly, we never saw a single bear :(. But oh well :). We saw Old Faithful too. It was all really fun!
After Yellowstone, we went to Twin Falls for Dad's work, and then on to Fruitland, ID, where we use to live. We got to visit the Weddell's in Fruitland. We headed to Preston, ID. That's where most our family lives. We visited: Grandpa West and Susan, Grandma Hobbs, and our cousin Cheryl's family. We then headed to Draper, UT.
We went to a family reunion, went boating, and hung around with our cousins. This was our last stop, and yea, we got to take a 24 hour drive back home. On the way home, we got to stop at Winter Quarters for an hour or so and go through the cemetery.
All in all, this trip was very memorable. Pictures will come eventually, but not now, :(.

Angel, our Shih Tzu, is our dog. I've trained her a lot, and thisis something we DIDN'T teach her. This i her barking. She loves to bark, but usually not at us, usually at the dogs outside, or other things. She is so cute though, I mean how can you say no when she begs for a milk bone, especially to those big cute eyes!? She is so cute, this is her barking with me, kind of weird how it works, but she likes it, i think....

I know I'm a little late, but I thought this Mother's day was pretty cool! We got Mom a new video camera. (the picture is not the real one, this one didn't have enough memory so we took it back and got another one. it's just like this, just blue.) Mom like's her gift, and we've used it so much already!

I made a sheskabob, well, a cheese, pickle and olive one :D. It turned out really well and we ate every last one. They were delicious! I guess I can say I am a pretty good cook!

Storms, Shots, and School all in one day!

I just love thunderstorms! Yes, they can be scary, and yes, they do annoy me at girl's camp, but they are just SO amazing! I love it! It's pouring outside! The thunder is loud and the lightening comes about every 2 minutes or so. It's really cool, and annoying. It's annoying because that's all I can hear. It's cool because it's not dark and it's not sunny, so it's fun to watch. I love thunderstorms!!!

I got my tetanus shot today while I was getting my physical. I thought it was going to hurt A LOT, but it only hurt a little. My arm stung at first when she put the needle in and I thought it was going to hurt more after the little pinch, but it didn't. It felt funny. She said that if it got red, to ice it and if it hurt worse than that to take Tylenol (?)! It only hurts a little bit now.

Well, today we got the call that my school would be back in session tomorrow. I didn't really mind at first and then realized that I actually really enjoyed my time off. I got to do things I don't usually do on a day to day basis. I went grocery shopping, put numbers on a mail box, celebrated Mike's birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!), and got to read a church book I've never read before. All in all, I'm kind of happy to be going back.

Well, I better get off the Internet before the storm blows it out.

Last week on American Idol we were all surprised to find Adam Lambert (guy on bottom above) to be in the bottom 2. It was quite stunning since he was obviously the best of the night. We all were stunned.

Swine flu

This week will probably be one of the MOST boringest weeks in my life. On Sunday night, unexpectedly we received a call from my school. Dad answered the phone and his first reaction to whomever had called was, "You're kidding me!" At first, I suspected that Stephanie had gotten in another car accident, or a ticket, or someone had died. Who knew that the school was calling to inform us that the Kinnickinnick School District 131 schools would be canceled till further notice. My immediate reaction was the same as my dad, "YOU'RE KIDDING ME RIGHT?!" Well, today time has past slowly but surely. I was bored out of my gored. My mom tried to entertain me by taking me with her to run errands. That was probably the highlight of my day.

After coming home, we got on the website http://www.kinn131.org and read the important letter on the length of cancelling. (Feel free to read it!!) It says that I will have no school for a minimum of 7 days. It also says it could add up to be 14 or more if necessary. This really stinks cuz I had plans for the summer and now we might have to make it up. According to Mike he said he heard in school today that you wouldn't have to make up school if it was cancelled by the Health Department. I wonder if that's true.

Well, we got new mailbox and mom and I were putting up the new numbers when I heard this buzzing noise. I looked to the side and saw this HUGE bumble bee. My immediate reaction was RUN!!! So, I did! I bolted around the yard like crazy. (Luckily no neighbors were out! :] ) Finally it disappeared. Then, we were walking inside when mom heard the bee again. She nearly jumped out of her socks. She did a little type of jump and then I heard it. My first reaction was a jump combined with a quick run/step and a scream. I instantly threw the garbage that was in my hand at the bee and started running towards the house. It was SO funny! I couldn't stop laughing for like 20 minutes.

Anyway, that was pretty much the other highlight of my day. I will be trying to work on the blog with my time off and hopefully I will be back in school soon and not have to do any make up in JUNE!

Spring break has finally arrived for us kids. Steph already had a spring break and we had nothing to do. So dad decided to take a couple days off of work and take us to Chicago. We'll be going home tomorrow and for now we are just sitting in Comfort Inn watching American Idol. (I hope megan or matt goes home) So today we had the opprotunity to go to the Field Musuem. It was pretty neat. We went through the new Real Life Pirates exhibition. It was pretty cool. I recomend going to see that if you come here to Chicago. Tomorow we are going to go to the Shedd Aquarium and the Plantatarium. We also might go to the ESPN Zone. It has all been fun and great. It's always nice to get away and just relax and have a little fun once in awhile. We have had such a fine time growing closer together. We are all going to go sit in the jacuzzi and swim after American Idol. I will post pictures of our adventures when I get home. Well, that's what's going on with us. Thanks for reading.

They were having a fundraiser type thing and they asked Mike to be Elroy the Elk. It was quite fun to see him dress up for the Festival of Lights parade in Preston, Idaho. It was hilarious. You had to be there. The costume above was quite simple to put on. He had this thing underneath the suit that made him look fatter, then he puy on the clothes part. He then put on the boots and the gloves. Finally, the head made him complete. So, he was quite hilarious! :) He performed perfectly to get people to come and buy hot chocolate and donuts. The Festival of Lights was also pretty cool. They had singers before and we went down and watched some people sing. They had some fireworks that were pretty cool. This was one of the best experiences we had at the time down there. We also saw our Great Grandma Bobbie while we were down there. She is looking more fragile every day. As she ages, her memory gets worse.

Anyway, here is one of many dances Mike made up for his Elroy the Elk character. The elk represents the Elks Lodge. We helped down there with the food for a little bit. It was quite the experience being down there. Sorry if I embarass you Mike. :) :(

Young again!

Before I get started, I'd just like to say, I know some of these pictures of silly and funny looking, but what can I say, that's what we looked like back then.

A couple of weeks or so ago, Dad pointed out at how fast we were all growing up. He mentioned how he wanted to be young again. That is so true! We all have grown up so fast. Now that Amber is married and having her own kid, I've realized just how fast time flies. It was just like yesterday that we use to all live together.

So, I guess the only way to show how fast memories fade, is to post a couple of pictures from our times together. I found a couple of sillier (?) ones, but I decided not to post them.

After putting so much thought into this, I decided that yes, it's time to be young again, and start enjoying the time we have together now and the time we will have together for eternity.

Christmas Decorating

I am finally on my Christmas Break and I am able to get caught up with all the things we have done recently. We put up our Christmas tree not to soon after Thanksgiving. We got very festive and even put up our Christmas lights. We were one of the only people on our street to put up lights at this time, but it was that big of a deal. Everbody else had problems because of all the snow we got after that. We did it while it was still a clear blue sky. These pictures are all from Christmas decorating around the house. We had so much fun! It was so exciting to get the Christmas decorations out and all.

Amber and Ryan came last night. Their flight was delayed about 3 hours. We got home at about 2 am when they finally got in. It was so much fun to see them again. Well, I will tell more later.

IDAHO!!!!!!!!

Hey, it has been awhile. We went to Idaho for Thanksgiving and I guess I never said anything. Anyway, there are over 100 photos I need to post. It will take me awhile, but they were all worth taking. One MAJOR thing that happened this past week since we got back, was that we found out our sister/daughter's Amber's baby gender. Well, it's almost official that it is............... So, Mike had another band concert, and this one was... what's the word(s)... OFF THE HOOK!!! They did this awsome piece called VooDoo!It was absoultely amazing. Mike did an amazing job. They also did The Phantom of the Opera, but I probably won't put it on here. In the middle of the song a girl screamed in the middle, but we missed it on the recorder by like a second, too bad you can't rewind time. It would have been awesom, my brother says they added that part though. By the way, all the extra noises are either on their instruments or they actually made them.

The Bowl

Yesterday, Stephanie went babysitting and was gone all afternoon. As a favor we decided to make her cookies that she would need today, Sunday, for her branch she goes to. Dad told mom and I to triple the batch so we would have extras for us, so we did. Dad and Michael were downstairs and never realized how big of a bowl we had to get out to cook. We started in a smaller normal size cooking bowl, but then we had to get the big metal stirring bowl out to miz all the ingredients. We transfered the 12 cups of sugar and brown sugar and crisco to the bigger bowl and continued. We used a dozen eggs and now we don't have many eggs left in our fridge. We had to go buy more vanilla so we could finish. We thought about starting over, but then thought "no because we were so far along." We finished and started baking. We were up late watching Hairspray and Star Wars episode 6 Return of the Jedi. We never finished the cookies and ended up freezing a lot of extra cookie dough. Dad later told us that he was just kidding about tripling them, but he was a little too late! The picture above doesn't even include the leftover cookie dough. ANYBODY WANT COOKIES?

This video is one I tried to put on earlier, but it didn't work quite as well as I was hopping :) It messed up majorly, and strange enough, my dad actually figured it out and fixed it. The Christmas video from earlier was a test, but it still was a good video, that I planned on posting later anyway. Well, hope you enjoy it. If you don't remember I tried uploading it and it was from the roadshow me and Michael were in. I forgot to take my camera and just recorded it off the TV. It is pretty good.

Hey everyone, it is Halloween time again! Man this year has flown past quick! I didn't realize it till yesterday, but I will actually be 14 in 21 days. Yeah! So, we carved some pumpkins. We got a pumpkin carving kit, but it didn't work to our advantage. I guess we aren't that talentedly skilled! It was a little confusing. We all carved a pumpkin. The one picture with all of us, it shows us all leaning over our own pumpkin. Angel is just in there because we consider her a part of our family. Well, here are some pics of that!

Roadshow and Homecoming

The first pictures are from me and mike's homecoming. I'm not in HHS yet, I am wearing the green RMS band shirts. I play the flute and he plays trumpet. We make a great duo. Well, hope you all like these ones.

Hi everybody, again. Mike and I accomplished our roadshow with no trouble at all. This little video is from the roadshow. We put the video camera on the TV and I recorded it onto the camera. Jenny Wright, our main character, got sick at 2 am the morning before the performance. She had puked 9 times before the performance and once an hour before the performance. I felt so bad because right after the curtains closed she was shaking like crazy. My dad said she looked like she was going to faint on her way back to her seat. But in the end she pretty much toughed it out. I think her sister said she got a blessing before the performance. That probably helped a lot. During one of our songs the music was turned down at the beginning and we got really messed up. They finally turned the music back up. When we could hear it again, three people had missed their lines. It was tough, but we got back on track. Overall, the performance was GREAT!

Stephanie's branch (ROCK 3 Branch), performance was over a half hour. Oh my gosh, that took forever. It was hilarious though all the same. We all did pretty well, some didn't even have a point though. The theme was "LOVE IS AN ACTION VERB: WHEN THERE IS LOVE AT HOME" wow ours went from a home setting all the way to a school setting.

It was fun!

Michael and I are going to be doing a roadshow this coming Saturady. We are way excited because we get to be gangsters and in a bully gang. We our doing the skit called NEW KID ON THE BLOCK!!!! We sing the songs LOOZA ON THE BLOCK, I BELIEVE, and NEW KID IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD!!! I am planning on taking pictures and putting them on here.

Also, just to inform you, you probably have noticed it is not Sunday yet, but I will be posting stuff on other days if I don't have homework and I have time! I will be posting on Sunday's with the week's notices and adventures.

So now I will take you back to December. We went to the UTAH JAZZ basketball game in the EnergySoulutions Arena. It was very exciting and we got to trade off 4th row seats. We had two of them and we went with our cousins. Our Uncle Bob got those 4th row seats from his work. It was exciting. The rest of us sat in the nose bleed section as we describe. Jazz took the win against the Portland Trailblazers. It was 111-101 as Michael remembers it. Here are some pictures to take us back to that moment in December.

I have not updated for a long time, i admit it. I have had homework now that school has started again and I never really get a chance to get on the computer like i had time to do in the summer. I am working on the blog on trying to get music on it and to get the new backgrounds, if you have any tips at all please leave a comment, help is all i really need right now. My mom may actually post some pictures and stuff. I will have her label hers "Mom- Jeana" if that helps you tell the difference of who is talking.
We have discovered recently very EXCITING news. (I hope amber doesn't hate me for doing this!) MY OLDEST SISTER (AMBER LEE BAGLEY) IS PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :)

I am soooooooo... (+ 1,000,000,000 o's) happy for her and Ryan! I hope they are having a wonderful time knowing as amber calls it "she is expecting" and I absoulutely am wayyyyy... excited!!!!

So our family went to Nauvoo with them while they were out here, and I will be posting lots of pictures of that when I get the chance to download them down... proabably in the near future.

Other than that we have all been pretty well.

Stephanie, my other older sister, wrecked the car a couple of months ago and ever since then we had to get a new one. I will also post pictures of her car on my next update.

Michael got his driver's license too!!!! I can't believe he is already 16. That was back in May though so I don't remember if I told you guys that or not. Anyway, he has not changed much.

Dad is still working on our basement and I am surprised at how much he has gotten done. I'll post pictures when he is done.

Mom is in the Young Woman's Presidency for the whole Stake and I have to say she is doing a lot in her calling. She may not think so, but i do.

I am turning 14 in exactly 42 days from today. November 18. I think it is 42 days.

Well all is well and I will make a goal to update every Sunday night although today is Wednesday.

Even though our sister likes David Cook. She was completely wrong when she said he deserved to win. On the night of the season finale of American Idol, David Archuleta delivered a "knockout" as Simon Cowell said to David Cook. He preformed the song "Imagine" by John Lennon and didn't miss a note. DAVID ARCHULETA GOT ROBBED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

David Archuleta deserved to win, not Cook! Yes, I guess he was pretty good too, but seriously David Archuleta was da bomb! He was like totally the best on the night of the finale. The song "Imagine" was sung with such perfection. He got it all on note. I think what caused him to lose was that Simon Cowell apologized to Cook, although that was on the night of the result show. AMERICAN IDOL IS RIGGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Girl's Camp

Well, it is that time of year again. I went to the ward's girl's camp and it was a BLAST!!!! I had so much fun! I really took no pics so I instead I decided why not show off a few embarassing videos. Recently, our family had the chance to go horseback riding... and to the Kalahari Water resort in the Wisconsin Dells. We had a lot of fun. We enjoyed the nice weather... well horseback riding that is. When we went back to the hotel/ Kalahari after horseback riding, there was a tornado warning. The funny thing was that we were in the water park. We had to evacuate the pool. So here comes hundreds of people down the hotel hallway dripping in their swimming suits. It was hilarious though cause we didn't even go to the basement. We only went to the indoor walls and they didn't even take it seriously. We went into room "H" I think.
Horseback riding was pretty fun too. Unfortunately dad couldn't come along. We had a lot of fun! My horse (Emily) was Casey. I think it was a boy. Casey was great to ride. At first the leader who was walking us to the field had to come get my horse back in line because Casey wanted to be first so he started passing Michael and Stephanie. That was fun though. I even said "Woah!" But Casey didn't listen even when I yanked on the reins. Michael claims I was choking him later. Hey, I just didn't want him to take off again! Mom lost her stirrup once and was freaking out, the leader said luckily that she'd be fine without it. Mom rode the tall horse. It was kinda funny seeing mom on that big horse. The rest of the time we just talked to the leader. It was SO much fun and so worth it in the end! :)
